Yamaha YZF-R1 LE Sports Bike Wallpapers

The new YZF-R1 LE sports Valentino Rossi livery just like his YZF-M1 MotoGP bike, but will come in very limited numbers. Back for 2010, the YZF-R1 is the only production motorcycle with a crossplane crankshaft. Crossplane technology, first pioneered in MotoGP® racing with the M1, puts each piston 90° from the next, with an uneven firing interval of 270° – 180°- 90°- 180°.

Yamaha launches the EC-03 electic bike

The rush to release elctric vehicles continues, with Yamaha showing off its new electric bike the EC-03 at the recent INTERMOT motorcycle show in Cologne.



The EC-03 has a choice of two motor modes. When riders need to boost their speed, they can switch from Standard mode to a special Power mode at the touch of a button.

Due to its lightweight build and slim proportions, the EC-03 can also be carried in a car or caravan.

The EC-03 will be in Yamaha dealers throughout Europe from the beginning of 2011.

Yamaha's custom 125 arrives, the YBR125 CUSTOM



If you've been after a custom 125, the new Yamaha YBR125 CUSTOM is now in UK Yamaha dealers.


It has an ultra-low seat (760mm) with high custom bars for a relaxed cruiser-type ride.
