Rebuilding H2O-Trails by Red Bull

Hi !

Last weekend I packed my stuff, took the AMP, got a shovel, and drove to Seeheim/ Jugenheim (Germany) around 100 km from my hometown to help & check out the ongoing rebuilding of the H2O Trails - one of my favourite spots around.

Since this spot hosted since years the " Dreck Attack Jam" event in the summertime http://bansheeteam.blogspot.com/2011/08/dreck-attack-2011.html it was now time for new lines and bigger jumps with professionell support.

That was provided by Guido Tschugg http://www.guidotschugg.de/1_about_me/ in cooperation with Red Bull and the Seeheim riders.

It was fun to meet the guys, discuss the lines and see the progress.
I'm looking forward doing the first ride !

Get dirty, dudes !

Cheers

Dennis

Fogelsode #5 and Goodbye Banshee Video

With school and the holidays coming to a close, there's a ton more time to ride! As per usual, Post Office is the place to be around here during this time of year, and it becomes an oddity to see a vacant roll-in during sunset.

Also, with the new year means I will be parting ways with Banshee. I'm absolutely grateful for the support that they've provided during these past two seasons, and I put together this compilation of footage from my time with them.

Happy New Year!

Off The Radar

I had the pleasure of having Zinger and Howey stay at my house for a couple weeks at the beginning of the month.  We rode a bunch, and Zinger was hard at work behind the lens, coming out with this banger!

Fogelsode Season 3 #4: AT's Showdown and a Wind Down Sesh

It's been an eventful past couple weeks! AT's Showdown never fails to disappoint and this year was no exception! I always look forward to this contest, not only for the good times that it brings, but because it brings friends from all over to the area, making for some rad days of riding before and after the comp. The contest went perfectly, with few injuries and exciting finals that the "head to head" format brought. I ended up finishing 8th, so I'm stoked on that!
We got a bunch of rain in the days following, so it was back to the good 'ol step-up for some lighthearted sessions--a nice change of pace!

Always in Style Tight Jeans, Tight Bikes.

Anyone who already owns one of the new Banshee Amp's knows how tight this little machine feels! This summer I was so relieved to build it up 2 days prior to the dual slalom event at CrankWorx. It felt so good the moment I got on it as I cat-walked out of my garage down the road and straight to the village to get some practice in on the fresh dual slalom course. I've never felt so cozy on a bike I've never ridden before which was ideal since the course was gnarly, but super fun, fast and flowy.
Since my initiation at the dual I've been hitting everything in my home town (Whistler), the Airdome, the dirt jumps, the local pump tracks, or crusing over to the beach you name it. One more think I should mention is how cool it was to have the frame arrive raw with no colour or stickers, they leave the creativity up to you with the included sticker package. Versatility of design and function!

This frame with definatly live up to its name~

Lets ride,
Adison MacDonald.

Jazz and I were so stoked on how it turned out and what we had created that we thought a fitting name should be “Get stoked”.You can check it out on Pinkbike and please let me know your thoughts on it, enjoy.Again thanks to all the people that have helped me out this season and made it a great one.Thanks,Forrestforrestriesco.blogspot.com

Dreck Attack 2011

Hi !

Last weekend the third year, the Dreck Attack Jam took place @ H2O trails in Germany.
Rider from across germany and some other countries found the way to and just wanted to have fun @ the sunny and relaxed Seeheim.

The trails were reshaped for this years event. The pro line was completely new & much bigger built up, so that some riders had very respect for the first double.

I did some high Barrel rolls, 360's nose dive, decades, double whips and finished up 8 place from 50 riders.

Dreck Attack's legendary Aftershowparty .... :-)

Here's a cool video from the jam. Enjoy.

A Sunday with Mike Montgomery

I was recently informed that Banshee would be producing a batch of Banshee Amps painted to match the bikes that I have been riding all season. I was pretty stoked to get custom painted frames and even more stoked to know that they will be available to the public.

I decided to go out with two of my friends Danny and Donnie (from NKOTB) and film a short edit to welcome the frames into the world.

A Sunday with Mike Montgomery on pinkbike.com

I am not sure how many frames will be available or when they will be available. Stay tuned to www.bansheebikes.blogspot.com for more information and go over to Pinkbike to leave comments on the video.

Bear Back Biking Whistler

Looking for somewhere to stay in Whistler? Well look no further than Bear Back Biking.

The guys at Bear Back were kind enough to accommodate me whilst I was in Whistler for Crankworx last week. Not only is the accommodation top notch, they also dish up some amazing cooked breakfasts & evening meals courtesy of their incredible chef, Wallace & chalet host Sophie. The guiding team of Casey, Jamie, Toby & Paul will show you all the best trails that Whistler & the surrounding area has to offer, but don't even think about trying to keep up with them!

The lodge is kitted out with secure bike storage & all the tools you'll ever need, so it really is home away from home for the keen mountain biker.

If this wasn't enough, they've just taken delivery of 2 Banshee Amp bikes for their guests to use at one of the increasing number of pumptracks that are popping up all over Whistler - there's a great one 500m from the lodge.

Make sure you give Bear Back Biking a call next time you're planning a Whistler trip.

Thanks again to Mark & Jonny for a great week.

Jump Ship 2011

Just finished up a sushi dinner in downtown Victoria after placing second in the first Jump Ship. With the wind blowing on my final run I was lucky to be able to pull off my run. I 360'd the drop in, did a superman on the first jump and then a backflip-whip. Landed pretty far down the landing and lost most of my speed, 360'd the next jump and then whipped the small quarter.

Have some more filming to do and then I am back home for a couple of days before some more travel.

Check out the Jump Ship coverage on Cheknews, watch until the end for best trick results ...

French Dirt Jumping

Here is a video from France of an interview with Banshee rider Thomas Bibiloni ... yes it is in French, but the riding part at the end is there for everyone to enjoy.

Bibi's Ranch Thomas Bibiloni

The offer has also been made by our French distributor to any rider who rides a Banshee to come and ride at Bibi's ranch... it would be cool to organise a banshee day there every year!!
